Meet the Photographer

First,  I would like to take a moment to thank you for visiting my website. I know your time is valuable so I won’t waste your time with long stories about how I was a born with a camera in my hand from a young age. I think you are here because you want to know me.  Well, in a nut shell I am a people person. I think that important quality for a photographer who does the type of work I do to have. I think it is an important quality to have as a photographer. You, obviously are here because you like the work and you want to know more. You want to feel comfortable with the person who taking pictures of you and your loved ones. There are many good photographers out there but you have to find the right one for you.  I prefer to get to know the people I am taking pictures of. It is important to me to get to know you. The more I know about you the better the pictures will be. I want to document your most precious memories. I want you to look the best you can look in that given moment.

My love for photography began  in college. Back then I was focused on shooting  products. I was studying industrial design and it was mandatory that students learn to shoot the projects they designed and develop slides of their work.  Technically I learned a lot about exposure and the importance of light and shadows. It was not til later on in life I really realize how much I enjoyed capturing people. I love capturing emotion and expression in a single frame. I love capturing those little moments in between  the moments you expect to catch. I love when a picture tells a story. I love being able  tell a story through my camera. Words only play a supporting role to what is already there.  Photography allows me to freely express, share and invoke emotion. I want people to be able to look back at a picture and live that feeling or that moment  all over again. That what I strive for in a single frame.

Have you ever spent hours doing something you hated because it “pays the bills”. Have you ever said to yourself If I could do one thing and do it well, it would be …? Have you ever done something that you love so much that you could not wait to do it again? I love telling a good story. I love creating a great picture. I love capturing those little moments in between the moments. I want to know who you are. I want to capture your story. Lets have a conversation lets create an image that represents you and tells your story. “One Frame at a Time.”
